When the alarm goes off each morning, my husband jump ups, put on the coffee pot and
brews a fresh pot of morning joy: coffee!
Once his coffee is prepared, he grabs a muffin or danish and settles down with the New
York Times to savor his morning brew.
I know, because the familiar scent drifts through the air, reaches my nose, and says hello!
Lately, I have been drinking green tea, but for years I guzzled cup after cup of coffee
starting in the morning–just to make it through the work day.
In fact, our office supplied us with free coffee all day long–in 11 flavors–to keep us
hoppy and productive.
Every meeting or conference was fueled by free pots of coffee.

Coffee is a daily fix for most working professionals.
It’s our wake-up call and in many cases, enables us to get out of bed every morning.
In fact, over 2.25 billion cups of coffee are consumed in the world every day!

amphetamines and heroine?
It just has milder effects.

Your post about coffee sure caught my attention. I’m currently trying to lose weight and need to seriously think about what sort of coffee drinks I’m consuming. So informative, thank you!! Beth from Wisemommies
Yes, the subject of coffee is very popular with many of us! I know that I have consumed a lot of coffee in my adult life! I am glad you found this post interesting. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. I appreciate it.
I drink coffee mixed with no sugar added cocoa mix and it helps me somewhat especially after a hard workout. BUT on the weekends I don’t drink coffee and I am perfectly fine. #wowlinkup
Wow, coffee plus cocoa! What a nice kick! I have try that!
I had no idea about the part of the brain that caffeine works in but I do notice that when I miss my daily cup I can feel myself becoming edgy and at times getting a headache. I do try to cut my cups down a bit but I am not sure I would ever give it up completely… LOL
I’m not a coffee drinker because my parents were coffee addicts. Only one of my sisters drinks coffee the rest of us don’t like the taste of it even in food. #wowlinkup
