I have always loved to travel, however, most of my trips have been fun, yet typical, tourist
vacations packed with busy days spent sightseeing, eating, taking photos and exploring
the traditions, history, arts and culture of the area.
From Istanbul to Casablanca to Dakar–and many other stimulating locales–I have truly
grown from my wonderful sojourns.
But, despite the fact that I have thoroughly enjoyed my vacations, in the back of my mind,
I have always yearned to go on a yoga retreat.
I thought it would be a great way to improve my yoga practice while experiencing other
intriguing destinations.
I dreamed of going to a yoga retreat in Thailand, getting fit, eating healthy food, doing yoga,
meditating, making new friends, communing with nature, exploring the amazing culture
and coming home transformed!
In addition to allowing me to disconnect, a yoga retreat would be a marvelous opportunity to
distance myself from some of my current, stressful circumstances.
Spending a few weeks at a yoga retreat is definitely at the top of my bucket list.

I’d love to go but I don’t think I could ever do more than a week at a time.
