Sure, I love to eat bowls and bowls of healthy, hearty vegetable salads for the nutritional
benefits–but I am sure you will agree that a fresh and tasty dressing makes a salad special.
I make all kinds of salad dressings, depending upon what ingredients I have on hand
in my kitchen.
Most of my dressings include an organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar such as my favorite
Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar due to its significant health benefits and tangy flavor.
In this recipe, apple cider vinegar is the acidic base for a rich, creamy sesame tahini and
turmeric dressing that elevates any salad to a higher level!
Turmeric is a powerful medicine that has long been used as an anti-inflammatory agent to
treat a wide variety of conditions, including flatulence, jaundice, menstrual difficulties, bloody
urine, hemorrhage, toothache, bruises, chest pain, and colic in the Chinese and Indian systems
of medicine.
A potent antioxidant–studies have linked the frequent use of turmeric to lower rates of breast,
prostate, lung and colon cancer.
Plus laboratory experiments have shown curcumin can prevent tumors from forming.

Sounds yummy. The last time I bought Braggs I bought it in bulk on Amazon! My friends and I use it quite a bit. Unfortunately my hubby doesn’t like it Luckily he did eat the cucumber/onion salad I made last night with it. I love all the benefits turmeric add. I’ll pin this so that I can have it!
I know what you mean. I have to hide the strong flavor of Braggs in a flavorful dressing for my hubby as well. He prefers a sweeter dressing like French. Thanks for pinning!
This looks SO good!! We do a salad night for dinner at least once a week, so I’ll have to try this next round!
Hi Randi,
