Since my heady college days when I first read “Back to Eden” and “The Macrobiotic Way”,
I have explored, experimented and finally embraced a healthy, plant-based and holistic diet.
Based upon years of personal assessment and positive experiences, I believe that a holistic diet
increases our power and endurance so that we can reach our personal peak performance.
Because a holistic diet harmonizes all aspects of our well-being–including the heart, mind and
body– it tends to makes us feel great, both physically and spiritually.
When it comes to following a holistic health diet, two key principles are of
paramount importance:
#1. Choosing organically grown foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals
strengthens our internal organs naturally and helps to prevent diseases.
#2. Combining foods to maintain a healthy acid and alkaline balance
will increase our energy naturally, while helping to optimize our digestion.

Love your infograhic. I believe that health has to be done holistically which to me is a balance of your own lifestyle. Nutrition, exercise, mental, emotional and taking care of yourself in every way. I think that organic and local foods as well as green living is a big part of this.
