Luckily, these can be taken care of. Herbs are skin’s best friend that help in treating wrinkles. The various qualities of herbs tone, tighten, reduce sagging and wrinkles from the skin. There are so many herbs to choose from. Which herbs are best to take to reduce wrinkling?

Here are a few herbs that are really useful for the purpose.
Mullein
Mullein is one of the best herbs for the skin. It has demulcent properties. Mullein contains vitamins, minerals and tannins. To reduce wrinkles –
*Buy mullein leaves and make your own herbal tea or make a mullein leaf paste and apply it
on your face and skin.
*It also provides relief from infections and heal bruises and other wounds with improved
blood circulation.
Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica)
It is regarded as the most useful of all the herbs in India. Gotu Kola acts as a toner for the skin. As a herb, it promotes collagen production in the body. Gotu kola’s ability to replete collagen level has made it an important ingredient in most anti aging formulas. To reduce wrinkles –
*Apply it topically on the skin, which will tighten up your skin and will remove fine lines
and wrinkles.
*Use dry Gota Kola and mix it with coconut oil. Keep it for 3 to 4 days, then remove the
leaves from the oil and apply it on the wrinkles.
Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera manages the collagen level and maintains a youthful appearance for years. The slimy gel, extracted by stripping away the outer part of the aloe vera leaf is used to cure wrinkles with its moisturizing and antioxidant properties.
To reduce wrinkles –
*Take a freshly harvested Aloe Vera gel and massage it into your skin for 2 to 3 minutes
in a circular motion. You can wash it off or keep it overnight.
*You can mix 1 tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel with vitamin E capsule and apply it on wrinkles.
Aloe Vera contains amino acids, B1, B3 and B6 to check radicals causing wrinkles.
Cleavers
Cleavers’ dried aerial part and freshly extracted juice is used to overcome wrinkling. It can be eaten like spinach or the roasted seeds can be used as a coffee substitute. To reduce wrinkles –
*Take 1/2 teaspoon of the herbal extract daily or drink tea made up of cleavers herb.
*It will remove sagging and tighten up the loose skin.
Comfrey
There are two types of comfrey – wild comfrey and cultivated comfrey. Wild comfrey is poisonous. Drink cultivated comfrey infusion, it will eliminate wrinkles. Comfrey contains allantoin and carotene, which strengthens the skin and helps in the growth of healthy skin cells. Allantoin act as an emollient and develops a protective sheet over skin cells. Another compound, tannins protect from impurities. To reduce wrinkles –
*Add 50 ml of comfrey juice to witch hazel and add 6 to 8 drops of patchouli oil.
*Soak a cotton ball in the mixture and dab on the wrinkles gently. Keep it for
4 to 5 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.
In a nutshell, wrinkles appear in the areas where elastin decreases, other than this genetics, exposure to UV rays, smoking cause wrinkles. There are products available in the market to take care of those, such as life cell anti ageing cream or you can opt for any other product of your choice. But opt for the ones with antioxidants in them.
