Whether you have recently moved house, want to spruce up your bedroom or would like a fun
project to work on; redesigning your bedroom can be done in a variety of interesting ways.
Wallpaper/Wall Prints
Wallpapering a room can be a relatively quick, easy and cheap way to give a room an entirely
new look.
With the vast range of wallpaper to choose from you are bound to find something you are your
kids will like.
However, if you don’t want the hassle of wallpapering an entire room then you might elect for
some wall prints.
These can photographs, quotes or just something you like.
There is as much, if not more, choice in wall prints as there are for wallpaper.
Either way you they are going to give your room a great new feel and aesthetic.
New Bed
Nothing changes a room more than swapping your bed. Deciding what kind of headboard,
bed size, material and general style will change your room drastically.
Your best bet may be to choose a bed you like and then design your bedroom around that.
In fact, Bedstar currently do next day delivery on all their beds if you order before 1pm, so
you don’t have to worry about being without a bed.
Colour Scheme
By simply changing your room’s colour scheme you can change the entire feel of the bedroom.
Ensuring that all of your furniture, bedsheets and curtains are slightly differing shades of the
same colour is great way to tie a room together.
You can even a step further by painting your old furniture rather than just buying new.
Just sand it down first and grab some paint.
If you want a fun project, then this is a great option for redesigning your room.
Move Everything Around
Redesigning your bedroom doesn’t have to cost anything or be overly complicated.
If you simply move your furniture around and position your bed differently the room can have
a totally new look and feel.
Instead of having the bed in the corner maybe move it into the middle of the room more or put
it at an angle instead, perhaps.
Experiment and see what works with your room and furniture.
No matter what you decide in the end it will give you a whole new perspective on the room.

We just got a new bed and I have been trying to decide how to change up the room. Thanks – now I have some ideas to play around with for the décor.
Our room was very, very tired after decades without significant change. We did a “refresh” this year and it was wonderful. So wonderful that we decided we must refresh it every 5 years.
