Traditionally prepared whole foods—I guess you’d call it. I soak grains, beans, and nuts…bake our own breads…use only recognizable ingredients. I draw on recipes from low fat raw vegan to meat heavy paleo, but don’t strictly follow any of the popular diets..

Reply

deborah January 16, 2014 at 7:23 pm

Hi Mary,
I am so happy to hear that you are preparing your foods in a healthy and traditional way. Many people forget how important it is to soak our nuts, grains and beans. Thank you so much for entering this giveaway. I wish you good luck!

I’m definitely an omnivore. However, I’m always looking for ways to add more fruits and vegetables to my family’s diet. I live with my mom, and for such a tiny lady (4’10″ 90 lbs) she has a horrible diet. I think she’d live on tea with tons of sugar, chocolate, potatoes, and toast with butter and cheddar if I didn’t sneak something healthier in.

The type of diet I follow is one of moderation. I eat as much raw as possible and foods that are low in calorie and fat, but I don’t deprive myself if I’m really craving or wanting something not-so-good for me, because when I do, then I end up eating half a dozen cookies as opposed to two! And I don’t fry anything! I grill, bake or steam and usually only chicken, turkey or fish.

Reply

Pamela Gurganus January 16, 2014 at 10:42 am

I would love to win this food processor because I’ve been wanting one for so long and I’d love to make my own hummus and almond butter, etc.

We are strongly plant based but do eat some meat – primarily organic chicken and fish. Whole foods diet I would say. :)

First off, thank you for this giveaway. I am a vegetarian and I do eat dairy and eggs. My husband does eat meat.

I am trying to eat more non-processed food and fruits/vegetables. I do eat meat but am eating more turkey and chicken.

I have been vegan for several years. I would love to use this food processor to make soups, nut butters, hummus..
