3. Baking powder and sugar

A mixture of sugar and baking powder can help you eliminate ants and other creeping pests. You may add water or not. Both methods will work perfectly. Sprinkle this mixture around the areas where the ants are passing. They Will carry it to their den, this will poison the entire ant family. Make sure to mix the ingredients well and use it anywhere else you see creeping pests

4. Get pepper and water

• Use three tablespoons of Hot pepper flakes or ten fresh peppers finely chopped.
• Mix them into one gallon of distilled water.
• Simmer the mixture for fifteen minutes and allow it to rest for at least twenty-four hours. Then you can package it in a spray bottle to spray in pest-infested areas.
• You can as well add few drops of liquid dishwashing soap to help it adhere to plants.

5. Banana Peels

Banana peels are best for fighting pests on plants. All you need is to put them around the stem under the soil. They keep away the intrusive creepers and also add nutrients to the ground.

6. Oil repellents

You can mix either clove, lavender, rosemary oil and put it in a spray bottle mixed with water. Then spray it lightly on your bed, and the scent will keep away bugs and termites. You can also consider adding lemongrass as reinforcement. It’s the best way to get rid of lice and fleas. Alternatively, you can use basil instead of lemongrass.

7. Foil paper

You can wrap foil paper around your plant’s stem, especially vegetables. The foil helps mainly with pests found under the leaves. The sun reflects light on the paper and under the leaves, thus keeping away the problems. This method helps with pests such as aphids. Although, you should be careful because too much heat can scorch your plant.

8. Cucumbers

Cucumbers have been predominantly used as insect repellent targeting ants. It contains a toxic chemical that insects feed on. Just put cucumber slices in strategic places where you see ants and also near cracks. Ants also hate the smell of cucumbers.

9. Powdered cinnamon

All pests flee at the smell of cinnamon. Put some around the plant pots and sprinkle around your home where you have sighted pests. It is favorable for homes with children playing around since it’s not harmful.

10. Soap

Soap is an excellent repellent to keep away pests such as roaches, mites, aphids, among others. Just mix water and soap and put them in a spray bottle to use on indoor and outdoor pests.
