I had one when I first got married and loved it. I don’t know what happened to it, but just recently I got a new one. I love that you put in everything at once and you are done. It cooks all day and then you just dish it out. What I hate about cooking is having to deal with different dishes and time it all. That is why the crock pot or slow cooker is perfect for me.
You can always have 2 crock pots going at the same time or give one as a gift. A back crock pot would great to have! Good luck to you.

I am a vegetarian(vegan on some days), as are my husband and our 5 1/2 year old son. I am working full time and find it difficult to cook a “real” meal for the family when I get home. I cook alot in crockpots, We are gone all day and they are the perfect solution for us.. I make alot of soups and caaeroles in the one I do have, but it is extremly small, hopfully winning this one so I dont have to purchase a larger one 🙂
I love to make chili and veggie beef soup…also like to make whole chickens in it.
Crockpots are great for making shredded chicken to use in other recipes; child; soups; meatballs for the holidays; dips; “baked” potatoes… I LOVE crockpots and could use another one during the holidays.

At this time of year I have more than one slow cooker going almost non stop…the cold weather sees a huge surge of creative ideas for me…soups, stews, chili, etc…and the closer I get to Thanksgiving the more creative i get…I will be making apple butter, pumpkin butter, pumpkin apple butter, chicken and dumplings, etc…those are the many things i love to cook in my slow cooker…I hope i win this. Much of my kitchen items were left behind when we had to drop everything and move on a moments notice…I am trying to rebuild what I once had!

I would love to cook some stew, or roast… mmm roast!! I love crockpots… mine is broken and I can’t buy a new one right now 🙁 There are so many wonderful things you can make in them, wonderful kitchen helper.

I love to make a beef pot roast with potatoes & carrots and then the next day I turn it into a pot of hearty vegetable beef soup by adding a few other ingredients, and its always the best soup ever plus it serves as 2 meals for us during the week
