It’s officially fall.
The air is crisp.
The foliage is changing to orange, yellow and red.
Bright, round pumpkins abound–and apples are everywhere!
It’s the most colorful time of the year.
But that’s not all…
What I love best about fall is the food!
I’ve fallen in love with so many of the delicious culinary creations of the season.
So I have gathered a few of my favorite pumpkin and apple recipes from some
of my favorite blogs to share with you–just in time for the holidays.

Apple Recipes You Will Fall For
Wondering what to make with all of those apples you picked ?
Here are 6 delicious ways to enjoy them!
*Homemade Apple Cider from myheartbeets.com
“Fall is by far my favorite season of the year. I love the crisp, cool air and the smell of warm toasty things. To celebrate this fall-like weather, I decided to make some delicious sweet homemade apple cider in my crock pot. The apple vendor at the farmer’s market suggested a combination of gala, pristine and honey crisp so that’s what I used for this particular batch.”
*Spiced Apple and Butternut Squash Soup from gutsybynature.com
“Don’t you love the flavors of fall? This dairy-free recipe for apple and butternut squash soup was born out of an over-abundance of apples from our recent trip to the u-pick farm and my desire to enjoy the delicious flavors of pumpkin pie spice in a savory dish.”
*Best Apple Crisp Recipe from www.wellness-and-workouts.com
“It tastes absolutely delicious. It is gluten free, dairy free, refined-sugar free. And it makes your house smell just like a conventional apple crisp recipe while it is baking.”
*Apple Butter Pumpkin Pie from myheartbeets.com
What can I make with apple butter? This apple butter pumpkin pie is a beautiful orangey-red color and the texture is spot on for a creamy yet sturdy pie. The crust is nutty and a little salty which helps bring out some of the sweetness in the filling.”
*Got Apple Peels? Make a Simple Apple Peel Cider! from and-here-we-are.blogspot.co.uk
“We brought home a couple big bagsful of apples, and I set to work peeling and coring them. I saved the peels, thinking there must be something I could use them for. The cool thing about cider is that you can make it without adding any yeast. The skins of the apples have the yeast culture on them already.”
*Apple Butter in a Crockpot from myheartbeets.com
“One look at this beautiful, thick apple butter and you know it has to taste awesome. It’s cooked low and slow in the crock pot but the time it takes is totally worth the wait. Make it before you go to bed and have sweet apple dreams. Wake up, and see them come true.”
