Spring has just arrived, which means summer season is not very far. It won’t be long before you realize your visitors are turning towards your garden to enjoy open air. And if your garden is unattractive, what kind of impression would that leave?
Fear not! Garden redecorators Oeco Garden Rooms are here to save the day by sharing latest trends to decorate your summer garden this year.
Plan a Proper Layout for Your Garden
To begin your garden preparations for the spring, you need to plan a proper garden layout. This includes deciding the amount of vegetation, paving passageways and adding beautiful natural landscapes that can be customized easily for every season.
Painted fences, flower hedges, vertical garden, planters and flower beds will add delight to every nook of your garden. Another convenient option to update the look of your patio is switching to a low-maintenance, natural landscape by integrating rocks, shrubs and flowering perennials.
Use Vivid Shades for a Popping Effect
Dare to use bold, vivid colours in your garden to enhance its true summery spirit! Your garden needs to showcase all the seasonal flowers to provide a refreshing appeal to onlookers.
Gloriosa Daisy is one such colour-rich flower with bright yellow and orange petals that grows well under sustainable conditions of the Great Britain. It reaches an average length of 3.5 ft and welcomes friendly creatures like humming birds and butterflies.
The vibrant Peony comes in shades of pink, white and deep-purple. They only require care while blooming, but once fully-grown, they provide a pop of colour with the convenience of low-maintenance. Another great option for those who need to cover more space is planting berry bushes and cherry trees.
Adorn with Garden Structures and Furniture
Marked among the biggest garden trends for this year is the use of garden structures and furniture. This brilliant idea transforms a boring garden into a fancy one. State of the art garden sheds and sunrooms are the main structures that make your garden speak volumes.
Painting garden furniture with deep dark colours (navy blue, dark brown and black) sets it apart from the natural colourful display of the flowers. The flowers become more prominent in contrast with the neutral shades of the structures.
Illuminate Your Garden with LED Lights
Lights spread a whimsical vibe throughout the space where they are installed, but common lights can increase your energy bills. A better choice is the LED lights. They make your garden enchanting while saving you money. Fairy lights come in vast array of colours to make your garden look radiant even in the dark. Another cost-efficient option is to use solar lights to illuminate pathways. Café lighting also helps to create ambience.
